Practice 2 - A , PG 117 ! ( HOMEWORK )

2 - The United States and Great Britain operate under a two prty system .

3 - The British Parliament has two separate houses also the United States Congress has .

4 - The U.S. House of Representatives is similer to the British House of Commons .
The U.S. Senate like the British House of Lords .

5 - Both members of the U.S. House of Representatives and British House of Commons are elected by district .

6 - The method of choosing cabinet members in the United States and Great Britain is the same .

7 - In Great Britain , The prime minister appoints the cabinet likewise the U.S. president appoints the cabinet .

8 - The British monarch has the right to veto any law passed by Parliament the same as U.S. president has the right to veto any law by Congress .
